Tournament Rules and Regulations:

  • A toss of the coin will decide home team. If a team does not send a representative when called to the press box, a tournament official will make the call for said team.
  • Teams must be ready to play 30 minutes before their scheduled starting time.
  • When called, please present your team's lineup to the press box. Changes to lineups may be made and are not official until the home team takes the field.
  • All players must be in complete uniform including caps, whenever on the field. Exceptions are catchers who wear helmets. Coaches are permitted to wear shorts or loose pants which conform to their team's uniforms.
  • The official ball will be the Worth K-Master. A warm-up ball will be given to each team when their lineup has been presented to the press box. No batting or infield practice allowed. Pitchers are permitted five (5) warm-up pitches when starting or entering a game and then three (3) in subsequent innings.
  • The newest ball will be used during the top and bottom halves of the first inning. No switching of balls is permitted during an inning unless the ball is hit or thrown out of play or is ruled unfit for play by an umpire.
  • Protest committee will settle protests at the point of protest. Only managers or captains are allowed to protest.
  • The game must go seven (7) innings or 6 1/2 if home team is ahead, excluding spread.
  • In event of rain delays, a decision will be made by the tournament committee.
  • In the event of a tie game at the end of (7) innings, the International Rule will be in effect in the 8th inning by placing a man on 2nd base( last out from the previous inning ) to start the inning for both clubs.
  • All offensive players must wear approved batting helmets.
  • The score of a forfeited game shall be three to zero in favor of the team not at fault.
  • A team ahead by (7) or more runs after five innings (4 1/2 if home team) will be declared the game winner.
  • For Championship Game only. there will be no run spread or International Rule used. The game will be played in it's entirety.
  • Any individual ejected from a game will be ineligible for his team's next game.
  • Punishment for flagrant offenses will be judged by the tournament committee and may result in banishment from the tournament.
  • The ISC pitching rule will be in effect. If an illegal pitch is called, a ball will be called for the batter and runners do not advance unless it is ball four.
  • A catcher who is on base with two outs may, at team's option, be replaced with the player who made the second out of the inning. This does not constitute a substitution or re-entry
